Senior Network Engineer, Network Infrastructure


 

***This position is a hybrid opening. You need to live in the assigned area, preferably close to Santiago de Chile***

In this role you will be a member of the team who design, implement, and administer our global network infrastructure across the Water Quality Group. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining Water Quality Group network infrastructure, policies, network diagrams, processes, and standard work. You are a key resource in supporting Water Quality Group business goals through continual improvement projects to increase productivity and reduce cost. The incumbent will conduct these efforts with the highest level of personal, professional, and ethical conduct.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drives for Results

  • Partner with Water Quality businesses to understand and support their goals through innovative solutions.
  • Strong desire to exceed our customer’s expectations every day through detailed action plans, change management and customer service.
  • You are senior resource who can handle the design and implementation of internal solutions and support other team members as required.

Charts the Course (Process Improvement)

  • Implement and maintain network policies, procedures, network diagrams, and standard work.
  • Develop and maintain KPI and daily management metrics.
  • Develop and maintain action plans and project schedules.

Relationships and Influence

  • Gather, organize, process, and communicate data, including reports, metrics, and documentation.
  • Support team members and business partners.
  • Work with vendors and carriers to manage services and maintain costs.
  • Able to communicate in English (written and verbal).
  • Other projects, duties, and responsibilities, as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate is a talented professional who can foster innovation and deliver results.

  • CCNA or higher or at least 2 years of related experience supporting and configuring Cisco ISR routers, Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco ASA\Firepower firewalls, and related technologies.
  • Experience supporting and managing Palo Alto firewalls an asset.
  • Experience with Cisco DNA Center and/or Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exhibits professional demeanor in ambiguous and stressful situations.
  • Basic use of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and Teams.
  • Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity and use experiences to identify the critical next steps and build action plans to drive projects to completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Ability to travel globally up to 10% a year to Latin America and North America.
